By the time he was 8 he had been making music on his DJX keyboard, Tek Bennet appeared on stage in several school musicals by 12 yrs. old, at 16 he was getting rotation on Pittsburgh's urban radio staion WAMO FM 105.9 for " I want You" a song which he produced and wrote himself. Tek Bennet knew that music is what he enjoyed most and decided that he would go underground for a few years to perfect his craft he learned how to engineer in a recording studio and started producing and writing songs for other artists. Quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with, producing,singing, rapping, writing, engineering all of his own projects. It is simply amazing watching him in action, he will go to his keyboards make a song, write the lyrics then record himself going back and forth from the booth to the MAC. You gotta love the tenacity!! Now at aged 24 Tek Bennet has produced radio ready bangers in the rock, pop, punk, soul, hip-hop, jazz and electronica genres, and has created a couple of his own as well.
