The Admission began in 2006 with a band called Fighting Prevalence featuring James Kemp, Frankie Santana, Johnny Stone, and Alex Randall. The Admission began in 2006 with a band called Fighting Prevalence featuring James Kemp, Frankie Santana, Johnny Stone, and Alex Randall. The band broke up in 2007 because of college, but the music didn’t stop there. While in college, some of the guys kept dabbling with writing songs, and finally created enough new material to start some basement recordings in 2009. One year later, The Admission is on its feet, picking up where Fighting Prevalence left off. The band now consists of original members James Kemp, Frankie Santana, and new additions Justin Kemp, Caleb Santana, and Jon Moore.
About Our Music: The Admission is a pop punk band at heart, having grown up loving bands like Relient K and Blink-182. The focus for our songs is blending lyrics and music to create an intentional feeling—much like how music and storyline blend together in film. Obviously, the goal is to create something that’s catchy and relatable, but also maybe just a little bit deeper than your average pop song. Thanks for listening and we hope you enjoy.
