A fusion of hip-hop / rock / jazz / funk / gospel creates and defines THE BLOWOUT KIT sound, self-described as "The Roots" meets "No Doubt". The explosive musical experience THE BLOWOUT KIT consistently delivers blesses both listeners and artists alike, making it one of the heaviest sought-after bands on the East Coast and southern regions. Their dynamic reputation has brought opportunities to perform alongside several local and national artists, including Avant and Marsha Ambrosius (formerly of Floetry) as well as being the featured band of the 2nd Annual DMV Entertainment and Music Awards. A wealth of experience is what makes this young band so extraordinary. Collective experiences include writing and performing with national recording artists such as Aaron Hall, Biv10 (Michael Bivins), TLC, Damnation A.D., Donnie McClurkin, Juanita Bynum, and William Devaughn.
