Take the smoothness of Jay-Z, the street style opinions of Tupac, mix in some Kanye West, and you get Flauce. Whether thumping in the car while cruising the streets, shoulder leaning in a club, or donning black hoodies and knocking over trash cans for fun, Flauce makes us feel good doing it. He is the burst of fresh air that the industry has been waiting for. 2001 marked the year when the New Jersey born Flauce, burst on the scene. Having opened for national acts such as Petey Pablo, winning local talent shows in Raleigh, NC, and performing the club circuit, Flauce has paid his dues to the game. In 2002, Flauce opened for Jadakiss and Styles P at St Augustine's College in Raleigh. That same year he also performed shows with Lil Jon and The East Side Boyz, Mobb Deep, and Lil Scrappy. Flauce won the BET College Campus Rap Tour in 2003 which opened more doors for him. When the summer of 2004 rolled around, Flauce was engaged in local performances and on the road for the Coca-Cola Promotional tour. Somehow in the middle of all that, he still managed to win the And 1 Source Mixtape MC Battle. With lyrics like, “Built to be a hustler, that's how my Father designed me”, Flauce maintains his street credibility, but keeps it real at the same time. “I always stay away from lies in my music; lies create a false image which is not me”-- and it's that image that has continued to pay off for him. In 2006 Keep It Moving Records signed Flauce and pushed his name out even farther. Opening for acts such as Huey, Lil Boosie, and Slim Thug in 2007, Flauce has become a name in his own right. This year has proven to be a very busy year. Flauce released two singles (“Breathe” and “Living In The Lights”), a music video (“Breathe”), performed at TJ's DJ's Ozone Awards Showcase in Miami, and continues the club tour. Flauce is grinding for the right opportunity. Besides drawing his “regulars”, Flauce's shows are drawing larger and larger crowds. He is energetic and versatile enough to flow off whatever the crowd is feeling. His performances stay on the tops of everyone's mind, not only during the car ride home, but also the day after the show. These are exactly the qualities that make Flauce a number one emcee and a crowd pleaser.
