Jay-Wise will unleash “Fresh” on listeners while Da Kid Montana has the autobiographically named “Kid” on the way and Chaos asserts his originality with “My Way.” The group nabbed 2006 and 2007 New York Underground Music Award nominations for Latin hip-hop, with The Corp. Cartel coming away the winner in '07. The band is busy showcasing all over New York and New Jersey. The hip-hop group has played such venues as Sound of Brazil, Don Hill's, The United Palace and Remote Lounge, as well as performing in schools from the junior high to college level. The Corp. Cartel's first mixtape was hosted by the late DJ Carl Blaze and the group has appeared on mixtapes featured by DJ Watts of The Bakery. These hip-hop artists have performed with numerous tri-state area DJs, including “the heavy-hitter himself,” DJ Enuff. The Corp. Cartel has shared the stage with DJ Green Lantern and Hot 97's DJ Kay Slay and has appeared on a number of underground radio stations in the tri-state area.
