The Cronics are a loud, hard hitting innovative 3 piece band from Toronto Canada. With superb "off the cuff" improvising abilities inspired by artists like the Jimi Hendrix Experience, fused with ever so obnoxious glam punk roots from Iggy to the Clash, the Cronics sound is one of true blood and guts, honesty and distinction. With their 6 song EP titled "Things Your Cat Can't Swallow", the band performed live and was interviewed on multiple Toronto television programs (BT, Rogers, Night Life, Much Music 2000-2002) and released a video for the CD single "Mr.Wonderful". This resulted in the band signing a publishing deal with Cherry Lane (New York). The Cronics have since written and recorded several new songs intended for a future full CD release. The band has performed a riveting 800 shows in just 5 years. 2 highlights this year included sidestage perfomances at the NickelBack concert and backstage at the Tool concert (Molson Amphitheatre). Admittedly a pack of road dogs, the Cronics consistently deliver a real live rock n roll show (no pre-recorded sounds on site) no matter where they go.
