It all started after a very long night out. Jen Bobal came home and brother Bob said, “you dirty stayout...” Bob, who had been writing a few songs thought, that’s it! And in the spring of 2008 The Dirty Stayouts were formed. With Bob Bobal on lead vocals & guitar and Jen Bobal on drums, they began to play their original songs around the music circuit in North Jersey & NYC. After playing with a couple of bassists who didn’t work out, Bob pulled in his buddy Anthony Sidoti, who he met when they roadied together for Dropbox on the Godsmack tour in 2004. Bob knew Ant would fit the dirty sound and attitude of the band. Pete Zest, singer of Another State of Mind, joined the band in 2009 after doing a couple of shows with the Stayouts, adding his ripping solo's on guitar and backing vocals. This past February (2011) The Dirty Stayouts opened for Mucky Pup and D.R.I. at Starland Ballroom in NJ. Their Song "Live It Up" has been played several times on 105.5 WDHA and "Live It Up" was featured on a compilation CD included with the 2010 December issue of U.K.'s "Classic Rock" magazine. The band’s self described sound of Cow Punk & Dirty Rock N’ Roll is unmatched by any other band! You will leave a show feeling dirty and wanting more...
