As of August 8, 2008, The Earth Turned Over's bassist, Nicholas Gomillion, will be leaving the band. It was not due to any kind of personal differences between members, he is simply inspired to pursue other things. So, we are currently holding auditions for a new bass player.

We are looking for someone that is at least 20 years old and is capable of touring when the occasion arises. They need to be willing to learn around 11 songs that have already been written as well as be able to help create new ones. Needs to be dedicated, and at least able to attend 1 practice a week.

Officially formed on December 1st of 2007, The Earth Turned Over is an Alternative Hard Rock group from the central Indiana area. The band consists of three hopelessly dedicated musicians who are always wishing for the best and prepared for the worst; Joshua "Wheeler" Castaneda performs vocals and rhythm guitar, Joshua Grow rips the awesome riffs with lead, and Steven Wissig kicks it crazy-style on drums. Their first self-titled e.p. was released on April 21 of 2008 and they are currently in the works of laying down their first full-length album!
