The Fillers originated in the fall of 2007 as a dual acoustic group by co-founders Jeff Meyer and Joey Kuntz, and were soon to be joined by the beat boxing/bass player extraordinaire Nick Taylor. In December of 2007, Scott Guttormson joined as their lead guitarist to round off the four piece band. The Fillers have had an exciting year, playing shows out in Seattle, Washington and performing in the historical venue The Chester Fritz Auditorium, where some of the greats have played such as Johnny Cash and The Allman Brothers. The Fillers have also been a big part of the Fargo/Moorhead music scene by playing in many of the local bars and venues such as The Broken Axe, The Nestor, and Fort Noks bar. Also, The band was selected to be featured on a national acoustic compilation by Quickstar Productions called Chill Out. All in all, The Fillers are known for their mesmerizing harmonies, in your face licks, and their feel good music.
