These Swedes have been around for two years and released two EPs, but have many years of musical experience. This is where they step out of the underground with their best and most ambitious music to date. They have recorded, produced and mixed the album themselves.
Without any attitudes or posturing, armed only with nine awesome songs, The Good Honey Society put their collective foot down and prove that there is plenty of space left between hardcore, indie and rock. They show us what it should all be about: Strong melodies, tight musicianship, great lyrics. All substance and no filler. These are songs that stick in your ear instantly but last for a long time, lyrics that are worth reading, not just listening to.
Perhaps you may here echoes from bands like Fireside, Texas Is The Reason or Death Cab For Cutie, but this record is the first step to becoming a band that inspire future bands. If you don't belive me, listen for yourselves. No fan of well-crafted, guitar-driven, inventive rock music is likely to be disappointed.
