Star Gang is a group that consist of 3 rappers and they each have their own unique style seeing as though they all hail from 3 different states Virginia, Miami, and New York. The group consist of female rapper "Young Protege", and two male rappers Cold Cash and R&B as well as being a group Star Gang is also a Movement that is growing and they are looking to expand into a street team as well as a graphics & productions. Young Protege was born to a single parent Karen Yvette Carter. Young Protege was born and raised in Reston, Virginia. Young Protege is 20 years old and has been rapping and writing for the last 12 years. Young Protege's home life has been rough and trying. Young Protege has lost her biological mother to hiv/aids and grandmother to heart/diabetes complications. Young Protege has lived with her aunt/mother Theresa for her whole life from birth. Young Protege is the Great-Grandchild of late great legend singer Betty Carter who was a big name artist who did collaborations with the late-great Ray Charles. Young Protege started out with music at the tender age of 8 with singing in choir with siblings. Rapping with her Uncle remixing great songs like "Turn Off the Lights" and "Let's Stay Together". Young Protege listened to the old school music with her grandmother like the O'Jays, Teddy Pendergrass, Al Green, the Stylistics, Earth, Wind and Fire and Many More. Young Protege has performed in her home town and other cities surrounding the area and has a good following so far. Young Protege is ready to put in hard work and make these hit records. Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, Cold Cash has for the past few years called Buffalo, New York home. As an artist Cold Cash is like no other. R&B: Once in a lifetime can a person come along that redefines an art of their choosing. Rishard "R&B" Binger was born in Washington, D.C. on June 25, 1987. Two years later he was moved to Carol City, Florida, the mecca of crime and death, where he was raised. R&B started his music career as a producer, learning under family. He started to enhance his skills until at age 13 he was nothing less than a prodigy. Many great artists in Florida began to recognize his talent until he was an underground name to remember. He soon began songwriting and in 2008 became a recording artist. R&B has worked with such names as Snipa, Mz. Tee, Young Protege, Lil Tez, Cold Cash, The Beatnecks, etc. His style and influence come from his southern upbringing as well as the constant family contact in the north. Those who have heard him call him the true "Ghostwriter" as he combines the drak elements of his true crimes with the lyrical prowness of any of the majors. R&B released the mixtape Liquid Shotz through 3 Shotz Entertainment in early 2008. The cd, though of poor quality, was a staple to his musical community. It contained his first single "Let's Get It" featuring his good friend Snipa. In 2009 R&B met with the So Focused Music Group in which he worked and met with many of his current affiliates. Recently he has helped in forming the underground super group Stargang, consisting of hip hop artists from all different regions of the United States. R&B also owns an indie label known as 13 Ghostz Entertainment where he resides as the number "7".
