synethesia – n. syn·es·the·sia A condition in which one type of stimulation evokes the sensation of another, as when the hearing of a sound produces the visualization of a color. Synesthesia is a four-act concept album organized and expressed through a series of artwork. A different group of songs consist within each act; which comprise one unified piece. Although every piece of music is created on a large scale, every song is designed to also be heard as its own entity. Rather than using a traditional score or chord chart, the music is understood by drawing different colors, shapes and patterns to thoroughly capture the piece's structure, energy and purpose. Every stroke fully correlates to a certain sound heard at that moment within the music. The imagery of the vocals is illustrated through the flow of the artwork to unite the piece as one completed work. The album is named after a condition that causes a person to visualize sounds through unusual color and shape patterns; which member, Brice Cagan has been diagnosed with. Joey Cleveland and Nick Guara complete the writing trio. Each musician conquers their role in this writing process. As it has resulted as a blessing in disguise, creating a very unique and intriguing genre of music. There is a raw exciting energy, but it is always displaying a level of elegance. Whether the song makes want to break a window, or cry for days, the foundation is always build around a groove, and will leave a part of you dancing. If you look and listen to every piece of artwork you will see and hear a distinct message and tone. If you take another step back, you will see the act which that song builds. If you take one more step you will understand the concept of "Synesthesia".
