This dynamic duo (Dee.J, L'Aye) teamed up Their sophomore year of high school along wit two others (T.Breezy, Ezzy The Kid) to form the group that everybody knows as "The Underclassmen". With personal complications in the group T.Breezy drifted away to do his own thing and focus on his music, while Ezzy The Kid had problems with his family that forced him to move out of State during the process of their first Mixtape hosted by lil Nico "Balla on a Mission pt.1". With the two being the only members of the group left they decided to keep making music and pursuing their dreams. Little did they know, their dreams were right around the corner. After the Mixtape was finished, they decided to start working on singles for a compilation album "Valedictorian". The first single was a reunion with T.Breezy with a song titled "Erryday". The buzz of U.C.M. was slowly but surely growing. They continued to make music that suited their ears and emotions, and in the process made two songs that got the attention of high schools all around Texas (Wus Happenin & Cutie Pie feat. Zac.J). With Cutie Pie being a hit, They caught the attention of a representative from the Major label "Warner Bros.", who was interested in their music and wanted them to complete a 8 track demo. The week before they were suppose to be signed, everything took a turn for the worse. They were caught in the middle of a "situation" and the label was no longer interested in representing the group. With everything going wrong they continued to show faith in their music, and they came to the conclusion that everything happens for a reason. Whether its good or bad. With new labels now interested in them, they continue to keep writing and creating new ideas for the fans and listeners. and just recently put out their second Mixtape titled "Heartbreak Kids The Mixtape". Theres plenty of meaning behind the title and the songs on the tape, but its up to the listeners to find out. I hope that you will take the time to hear the greatness that comes out your speakers while listening to The Underclassmen. Behind every great figure, theres a story worth hearing... Support U.C.M.
