The explanation point says it all. Think of N.W.A. blended with N*Sync and Myspace.com. The genre defying, show stealing powerhouse formed in May of 2009, And by June of 2009 were playing to a sold out crowd. What began as one song, a new myspace profile, and 0 fans quickly turned into a booming myspace, and a solid 10,000 plus following. Now, after the release of their E.P. "We'll Come To That Bridge When We Cross It", TRAP HOUSE RAVE! are more than ready to settle into the genre they are helping create. Though compared to bands like Hollywood Undead, and Linkin Park, due to their blending of rock and rap, TRAP HOUSE RAVE! refuses to be defined. THR! takes it step further, borrowing elements from the Metal, Electronica, R&B, and Techno bins as well. With over 15 years of combined industry experience, This super group has had their fair share of ups and downs. Though he began making music at an early age, KOLGATE was never able to find a solid audience for his craft. In 2007, he created a myspace page for his trendsetting recordings, and within one year his profile had over 72,000 fans, and over 3 million plays. Fueled by the success of his single "Mosh It Out" KOLGATE lasted 3 weeks as the number one indie artist in the United States on myspace.com. At this exact time, it is by chance that via mutual friends he met BREWER, bassist for the moderately successful band "Groundlift", an Industrial/Metal project that was on hiatus. BREWER wanted more than a bass players light. After just one conversation the two decided they needed to work together. Ideas were tossed around for months, and it wasn't until May of 2009 when, while at a solo recording session, KOLGATE decided to revamp a song in progress and gave BREWER, and KDLZ a call. "Under Your Skin" was born, and at the same time, so was TRAP HOUSE RAVE! With an invite from KOLGATE, friend, and band-mate MC BANK, of [THE LEGENDS] joined, and upon the release, and creation of the bands myspace and song, mutual friend JIMOTHY was immediately interested in hoping on board as well. With Jim’s extensive musical background, professional studio set up, and all around talent he was instantly accepted. With self-produced and engineered music, a diehard fan base, or the "THR! Rave Slaves", as they like to be called, A non-stop drive to create, and a combined positive attitude, It's obvious that TRAP HOUSE RAVE! is here, and a force to be reckoned with. So, the question you need to ask yourself is this; Are you a Rave Slave? Say YES!
