The origins of Tune In Tokyo date back to May 2009, when Jay Simpson and Andrew Malafarina, fresh from doing whatever it is growing young adults do, began collaborating under the moniker of Yoko OH NO! Such is the course of any collaboration, marriage or corporate merger; the pair struck nuggets of songwriting gold, as is often the case when jamming in one's garage. Henceforth, the three eschewed sweet jams concerning the exploits of time traveling cats, suicidal playing cards, black breasts, various flavors of pie, and vampires. You know, suburban life. What happens next? Well that's your decision dreamers.
