Everyone has greatness implanted in them at birth, but only a few individuals have the drive to open up and use the greatness inside of them in their lives. With the bumps and the bruises that life brings, the ups and the downs, the good days and the bad, it becomes easy to just throw in the towel. But when you’re determined to let the greatness in you overcome, those obstacles become nonexistent. Believing in that greatness and the potential therein, can move mountains and make the success that the naysayers said was impossible, well…. possible.
That same greatness has exploded inside of two extraordinary women: Tesra R. McCoy and Tamara S. Bowie. Tesra age 32, is the single mother of 3 wonderful children,
Pritice Reid 15, Terrance McCoy Jr. 10, and Tyran McCoy 6. Originally from Miami, FL, she is a veteran of the U.S. Navy where she served for 11 years. Her business partner, Tamara, age 30, is the single mother of a son, Derico Tilley Jr 11. Originally from Theodore, AL a small town on the outskirts of Mobile. She has 14 plus years in management in the Restaurant Service industry.
These two powerful women met while young adults and had a bond that only forseen greatness can forge. Together, the pair has over 14 years of leadership, supervisory, and management experience varying from military, general management, small business skills, over to education.
Inspired by the underground artist Ms. Monrow, the team saw the makings of a great dynasty. In December, 2007, Urban Charisma Records was founded whose mission is to help manage and develop the skills of talented individuals in the creative arts industry and business. With the combined managerial skills of the team and the raw talent of the artist, there was much success in the development of Ms. Monrow’s career. Thus the beginning of a team unbreakable was solidified.
