They Say every ten years a star is born. Well DEUCE UR-HYNEST is 20 so I guess he's accomplished that feat twice. The 20 year old mega-talent from the D.M.V( D.C. , Maryland, Virginia) area has found his place in Hip-Hop and doesn't look like he's getting out of sight anytime soon. All wasn't perfect for the Rock/Rapstar sensation, growing up hes always been that guy and with such great weight on his shoulders problems have seem to come his way. Through it all he's managed to stay focused stating that "it doesn't matter if your the last man standing if your not standing tall." DEUCE UR-HYNEST was making music out of passion but when he linked up with DJ Rob Mista D.M.V he began to make it his duty. He was so hot DJ's begin to start playing him throughout clubs and the streets. His track DOE DOE which has became the smokers anthem was placed on the Three Six Mafia Oscar Edition mixtape hosted by DJ Paul (Three Six Mafia). DEUCE UR-HYNEST instantly started producing records and has done shows with acts such as Team Blackout Pretty Ricky, Project Pat, Grafh, G-Dep, Young Joc, Rick Ross, Monica, Cassidy, Richboy, Shawty Lo and Pretty Ricky just to name a few. He has also been featured on mixtapes with over half the industry appearing alongside some of the games greats. Lil Wayne, Birdman, D.J Scream, Project Pat, Three Six Mafia, Shawty Lo, Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Pimp C (R.I.P) and DJ Drama. Locally DEUCE UR-HYNEST has been starting to gain recognition garnering airplay with his Verse on the Sean Taylor Tribute alongside Wale, Big G, and Neo Soul artist Raheem Devaughn. That led to a placement in the HIP HOP WEEKLY magazine. Also his remarkable lyricism has made him a stand out on any song he's on. DEUCE UR-HYNEST was apart of the Judah produced (100 miles and running) anticipated track "HEAVY". His amazing energy, unbelievable voice, and tremendous versatility has some saying this is what the games been missing. When the winner of Lyor Cohen's The Biz (Warner Music) reality show, Greg Calloway, heard DEUCE UR-Hynest on a record, he immediately got in contact with him. "It's rare when you hear an artist for the first time that gets you excited!" says Greg. He's linked up with a good team, look out for DEUCE UR-HYNEST, he's coming! There haven't been many others from the the D.M.V that have made it major and being that the state of HIP-HOP is at and all time low people feel as if it's the D.M.V.'s turn to blow. Who's up for the challenge during a recession, lack of C.D sales, can there be another? "No one has stepped up to the plate so I'll take it from here an put the whole D.M.V. on my back".
