Valhalla, an aspiring five man project originating in Montville, New Jersey in April 2009 consists of a lead vocalist, bassist, drummer, and a lead and rhythm guitarist. Valhalla, an aspiring five man project originating in Montville, New Jersey in April 2009 consists of a lead vocalist, bassist, drummer, and a lead and rhythm guitarist. Beginning with local gigs, Valhalla is currently branching out further playing regularly at the Stone Pony, opening for John Cafferty, winning battle of the bands along the way and participating in the Bamboozle Break Contest finals for a main stage slot at the Bamboozle festival. Practicing tirelessly on reaching the band’s fullest playing and writing potential, the members all have the common goal of achieving the best they have to offer. Carrying the label of alternative rock, some influences include Led Zeppelin, MGMT, Kings of Leon, Maroon 5, Marvin Gaye, Bon Jovi, The Allman Brothers, Incubus, The White Stripes, and many more. Recently, they have been showcased in the Aquarian’s OTV(On the Verge) project and have consequently been nominated to take part in the 2010 New Music Seminar. Valhalla is rapidly accomplishing great feats and has no plans of slowing down anytime soon. Band members are from 15-19 years of age.
