Born in Lawrence, KS and raised in the small midwestern Kansas town of St. John; Tyler has always had a song to sing. When Tyler was still in grade school he was putting on shows for thousands of make believe fans in his bedroom. According to Tyler he would dress up in his best George Strait outfit, hold a fake blow up guitar, and sing his heart out to a beat up Pure Country cassette. "No one could ever find a flashlight in our house because they were all being used as spotlights in my room," says Tyler. Now 23 and all grown up, Tyler doesn't have to raid the junk drawers for spotlights anymore. Tyler cut his teeth playing the college bar scene in Manhattan, KS. He made quite a name for himself around the KSU campus, and every now and then he goes back to play the old bars in that gave him his first gigs. Tyler spent a few years as a weekend warrior in the Dallas music scene, until just recently relocating to Nashville, TN with his beautiful fiance Chelsey. "I didn't know if I'd ever have the guts to make the move out here," says Tyler. "I owe it all to the faith and support of Chelsey. I'd truly be a mess of a man without her." A skilled performer and blooming songwriter; Tyler hopes to make a name for himself in Music City as a talented artist with a passion to write and sing about this crazy journey we call life. "When I was a kid I wanted to be a superstar; the next George Strait" says Hammond. "Now that I'm older I only want to live a life of love for my family and do what I do best. Make music!"
