Amature and late bloomer, Valerie delights in the creative singer/songwriter world. Her first CD, "Around the Far Turn" was done with Cosmic Funny Bone productions in 2007. She pioneered the female artist showcase "She's Got An Axe" in 2008. Valerie has contributed to fund raising gigs for: Prunebelly Syndrome; Wounded Warrior Project; Doctor's Without Borders; Haiti Relief; Breast Cancer Foundation. She's been featured in singer/songwriter & original artist showcases such as: Roger Silverberg's Conklin Barn series; Mark Newman's News from the Hive; Mark Loeble's Unplugged; sAthena' Reich's Catty Shack open mic; The Perch Cafe; and Dave Drew Accoustic productions. "Well Seasoned Hearts" is from Valerie's second CD, which is in the works, and features Long Island musicians: Vicky Liotta, Frank Walker, Harry Strohl.
