Voz Muzik: 'Voz' was the name given to him, while a poet, because of his unique pitch and animated stucture performance. Born in Providence R.I, this gifted artist claims the 'Hartford' projects as his home. Eager to create Voz found himself to be very gifted with a pen. That's is when the pen became his 'paintbrush'. By the age of 14, Voz would write and perform for spoken words exhibitions and slams. This is where he was first recognized as a gifted writer and performer throughout Providence. At events such as local talent exhibitions and competitions here in RI, as well as beyond the RI border. Later in life, he decided to evolve from the poetic life to the musical life. The multitalented artist, Voz also plays piano, and as a result began to not only write but produce his own music. Through venues such as 'The Providence Black Rep', and 'AS220', Voz hit the stage and he has never looked back. Voz took on his new identity 'Voz Muzik'.
