Dirty Shannon's Southern Rock sound is derived from a variety of influences that they have all grown up with.  The rich guitar sounds are influenced by such legends as Jimmy Page, Tom Petty & Jimmy Hendrix, while their rhythm section has been heavily influenced by such bands as Rush & The Police.  Lead vocalist Victor Scott, with his background in Souther Rock and County, completes the ensemeble with a powerful and distant voice that echos those of Ronnie Van Zant, Edwin McCain & Rob Thomas.  Each musician has intertwined his individual style in such a way that no one influence overshadows any other, and it's this collective pool of creativity, muddied by the members' individual experiences that are at the heart of what makes them Dirty Shannon.
