Born in Jamaica on August 21st 1977,was Wade Raymond. His mother took him to United States 2 months after his birth. At the age of 4 he lost his father to a fatal car wreck, that would be Wade's first schooling of death.Although losing his father and being raised by just his mother, Wade never lacked from anything. At the age of 6 Wade got his first casio keyboard, and his mother taught him how to play by ear. When Wade was 9 "RUN-DMC" introduced hip hop to him, and from there on Wade began to write his own rhymes. Around the age of 16 Wade started to make his own tracks and recorded vocals to them. This was just the beginning of what was to become.Thru out the years, Wade has been in many groups, in high school he was known as "Mr.Yuk" just based on how lyrically nasty he was. Even well after high school alot of people still called him "Yuk". During that time he was partners with a friend (Brian Johnson) "S.M.S." was his nickname. These two formed a group called "ILL FREQUENCY", and during the mid 90's a "Bad Boy" A&R representative heard them and was interested in signing the two, but as fate would have it the deal never fell thru. But that never stopped Wade, from park jams to night clubs, Wade ripped the mic whenever he could. In 2000 Wade entered a talent contest, not having the money for entry, he pawned his keyboard because he was sure he was going to win. Needless to say he did, he came in second behind an R&B singer but was first amoung all emcees.Although music was something dear to Wade, life was something too real. Being kicked out the house, Wade literally lived on the block. Learned the hustle game, has been locked up, been shot at, you name it. But God had a plan for Wade's life even thru this. In 1996 he met "Felicita" a young woman who later became his wife. After she birthed his first child, Wade began to look at life much different. All the ripping and running Wade was doing began to deminish, shortly after Wade gave his life to Christ. Although Wade would turn his back on the faith, there was always still a voice calling him back to Christ. It wasn't until 2006 Wade seriously commited his self to Jesus, but even still he had his moments. Learning how to walk in the faith was a whole new subject.Wade began to write new songs, about his struggles of being a christian. He started to rhyme in a way that his unsaved friends would listen and learn about his risen savior. Wade felt the messages of the secular hip hop was stuck on 5 topics (sex, drugs, violence, money and bling). So for Wade to be flowing on other subjects was definetly different for the peers in his circle, but all his peers encourage him to continue to bring the truth. This was the beginning of the ministry God had destined for Wade.Although Wade has plenty unreleased albums he is currently working on a new project that is entitled "The WALK" and should be released early 2008.So to all in the faith STAND FIRM, and WALK STRONG!DISCOGRAPHY:2005 Bamboo Resurrection:2005 Hip Hop 101:2006 Death Before Life:2007 the Stand Up Mixtape: 2007 Peculiar:2008(soon to be release nationwide) The Walk...
