my stagename WALKER TEXAS RANGER after playing with Tirk Wilder for about five years back in Mai Kai Club in Okc,Ok was used for the tv series after Tirk Wilder submitted "eyes of a ranger". I guess my stagename was catchy at the time.(too bad i didn't have it copyrighted but i have gotten publicity all over the world thru internet websites where i have uploaded my songs.Bobby Jack bass at the time gave me the stagename for he wore a sheriffs badge on his strap
