From an early age, William E. Bachelor III was moved by hip hop as an artform, by the ability of the artists to express themselves, no matter how shocking, their ability to tell their story. Born in Panama City Beach, Florida, Web Three was born William E. Bachelor III and was quickly influenced by artists such as NWA, 2 Live Crew, and The Beastie Boys while being consumed by skateboarding, surfing and sports. Living in Panama City Beach, a small Florida Panhandle town known for its vacation party atmosphere and "Spring Break Capitol of the World" tag in the early 90's, Web was exposed to many things kids his age would have normally never seen. This also created a what he calls a seasonal extremity: as the weather changed, so did his mood. Living in what was nicknamed the "Redneck Riviera," essentally an outskirt of the deep south or "Lower Alabama", Web was exposed to racisim and hatred and was disgusted by the atmosphere. By middle school he had an array of influences and listened to a wide range of music from Punk Rock and Alternative to NOFX, Rancid, Nirvana, Everlast, ICP, Twiztid and Wu Tang. This inspired him but he also developed a sense of angst. Web strived to stand apart and distance himself from the small town minds that surrounded him. At the age of 18 he bought his first set of turntables and delved into DJing and freestyling. Web fell in love with emceeing and put the poetry of his struggle to music. It was at this time he took the oportunity to move to South Florida to pursue a better surrounding for a music career. Writing and recording multiple songs, Web started performing live in 2003 in the West Palm Beach area as frontman for the dark hip hop band Dead to the World. As a solo artist, Web developed a reputation for a live and energetic stage show with elaborate props and sexy performers, sporting everything from bondage cages and fetish peformers to a 7 foot coffin. Throughout South Florida, he and his band, consisting of guitarist Kris Graves, vocalist/hype-man Ratt, and DJ Needlez, performed at all the local hot spots gaining respect and a dedicated following. Web began working with producer Contagious, strengthening the sound of Hip Hop and melodic rock. With Director Troy Longurst, Web Three shot music videos for four songs. In 2008, the band toured with Human Factors Lab extensively throughout the North and Midwest and continued that same year with an East Coast and midwest tour with HFL and Mushroomhead. After a year, Web Three had toured a total of 35 states, played over 100 shows and released the mixtape "One Man Moshpit". In 2009, the full-length album dubbed “Paindemoniam” was produced with Contagious and released locally and online. Death Proof Records was established in 2010 and Web is currently putting the finishing touches on a new studio release and a new mixtape due out in early 2011. The new hit single "Rockstar (Shut it Down)" is cynical view of the recent obession with the "rockstar" lifestyle in popculture and the abuse of the term. Web's lyrics agressivly scream "F--- the police if they want to give us braclets"... "Take a shot and pour the beer on the cornflakes, and tonight I'm gonna do it again".... "I'm in Miami bitch, chasing the American Dream fixin to get Miami rich!" Web, who's father was drafted to the Vietnam War and shot 5 times, has felt and seen the first hand effects of post traumatic stress disorder as well as the pain of war. He had this to offer in his track "Boots on Broken Glass", a song dedicated to showing the effects of war on society and soilders as well as their families, "Hey Beverly they shooting for black gold/ a decade vacation inside a blackhole." ... "Trapped like butterflies in a glass jar/ Jarheads with glass hearts/ Purple Hearts, broken glass houses, we stomp in bottomless boots/ sand is buring so we cant stand fine, sand through the hourglass so are the landmines/ shaking a stained glass on a sandglobe/ saving my ammo untill i am home!" In another popular track, Dance MFR (Thats Whats Up) Web sings"Dance before your time is up" in a song about living your life to the fullest regardless of what others say is cool, because any day could be your last day. Web not only portrays his art verbally but on his skin as well. With tattooed portraits of scores of personalities from Pink to Jim Carey, to name a small few, the canvas on Web’s skin reads of the influences that have helped create the monstrosity that is Web Three in life.
