Josh Roley aka "RISK"... was originally born in Houston, TX.... After leaving there at an early age he relocated with family on the outskirts of Philadelphia, Pa. (where he now resides) Around 11 or 12 he realized what love he had for music... Risk started writing songs and taping them on a karaoke machine... After a brief dip into hustling tree he grinded up enough to get the first of many recording devices... Then he started developing his craft of music..... He then met another mc/producer...

(where he now resides) Around 11 or 12 he realized what love he had for music... Risk started writing songs and taping them on a karaoke machine... After a brief dip into hustling tree he grinded up enough to get the first of many recording devices... Then he started developing his craft of music..... He then met another mc/producer named Balis who would turn out to be a great friend to Risk... They spent years together writing and producing songs hoping to catch the ears of someone who could take them where they envisioned to go.... They performed at local bars, college campuses, arenas, clubs, radio shows, webcasts, and any other event they could tackle... Time and time again they would record albums and perform them with different group members claiming to have the same vision as them.. Failed attempts to reach any substantial success forced each to part ways to achieve different goals.. Thousands of cd's later and numerous shows Risk had no idea where his place in music was... He still thru all stayed focused with the intent to make the world hear his music... Taking time off to raise his kids led risk to channel a part of him which he never new existed... He started writing songs about the life he sees and the people involved who see the same things... He was the introduced to someone who will just call j dub for now... A few meetings and a bunch a progress later, we give you Risk.... reppin’ Sidetrack Records with no doubts that this is where he needs to be..
