Whether it’s a high energy southern rock song or a heart wrenching ballad, Deidre Thornell delivers something to everyone. Her odyssey began at the annual elementary school talent show, and continued, to make repeating appearances at opry’s throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Rising to the next level, she entered the Colgate Country Showdown, a national contest, and at 17, won the local and state competition in Texas, and was runner-up at the regional show.
She worked at Six Flags Over Texas as a performer, being designated the lead vocal for the entertaining “Country is My Rock” show. She has opened for great talents such as Wade Bowen and Josh Abbott Band. Throughout the years, she has been asked to sing the National Anthem at multiple venues, but singing in front of 80,000 people at Cowboy Stadium for a Dallas Cowboy Game against San Diego was an opportunity she won’t forget.
Currently she is putting together her first EP with 4 original songs-one of which will be release in June 2012, entitled "Good Girl." Look for her new and upcoming merchandise available soon!
