First only including, Chris and Adrian, the 3rd member Jamal was later added as an official member in late 2008. The 4th member Shenei was added early 2009. Three childhood friends and their love for music is what spawned L.D.C to be born in 2007. First only including, Chris and Adrian, the 3rd member Jamal was later added as an official member in late 2008. The 4th member Shenei was added early 2009. When Chris went away to school things slowed to a crawl since the group was still trying to search for their own personal and expressive sound. The group really pride themselves on trying to plug in to many different kind of music instead of just Hip-Hop and R&B. They want to be diverse but versatile based on the idea that music should directly come from life since life in a sense comes from music. They have a small following in the New York, and Atlanta areas but, want to fine tune their unique approach to music as a whole. Growing up with a background in the church, the group keeps a connection with God while trying to deal with the problems of growing up in these times. Shanei and Adrian both sang in the choir. The group are members of Berean Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York. Without a studio, with just a mic and some software, L.D.C continues to make and improve their music. "We want to make sure when we really step out there, we don't get written off as just another blah blah, we are three different artists and we paint three different pictures, but we are learning to merge our views to create a well-oiled machine that maintains that unique sound, only this time the individual being the group"
