Born in Trinidad, as a young child he was active in music and was always singing and performing whenever he could, at 6 years old he was already performing in talent shows. His mother moved him and his younger sister to New York, where at that time he fell in love with HIP HOP. His family then moved to Toronto, Canada in the early 90's and Yung then had to start all over with his dream of being in the music industry. Taking the stage during his high school years, winning talent shows, performing anywhere he could has helped him as an artist understand hard work. Now a well rounded MC he is about to take the world by storm, one step at a time.
