Zionomi is a World Music sensation. An artiste gifted, born to sing with a passion that is as real as his words. He was born and raised in the sweet Helen of the West, known as the island of Saint Lucia. Zionomi is of Creole Heritage [Italian father, St.Lucian mother] and has showcased his versatility and lyrical prowess by recording and performing songs from various genres such as Lover’s Rock, Dancehall, Soca and Lucian Kompa (Lucian Kweyol). Zionomi has soulfulness to his songs and a meaningful message in his lyrics as well. From his youthful schooldays of beating on desks and freestyling to classmates, music has always been his passion and has served as a mirror reflecting some personal aspects of his life. It has offered him freedom, meditation and a platform to educate and entertain. His success was sealed with his victory at the Saint Lucia Guinness Freestyle Competition in November of 2006 where he was offered the opportunity to fly out to Jamaica and network with industry veterans Bobby Digital and Bushman’s producers to name a few. In recent years Zionomi has performed across the island at numerous venues including the Saint Lucia International Jazz Festival 2008 and 2010. Most recently his international hit “Roll Yuh” has allowed him the opportunity to perform in Germany and Saint Maarten.
