His mother got off from work one night and told him that "Shakur" was pronounced dead!! At the time Polo did not know who Tupac was, so he did some research and became interested in music. It wasnt until the summer 2000 Polo attempted to write his first song with his cousins in Las Vegas, Nevada. Later in 2003 Polo recorded his first demo with his uncle Christopher "Jaqwell" Ashley in Stockbridge , Georgia. In 2007 Polo created a song title "Crank Dat Scooby Doo" similar to Soulja Boy Tellem's "Crank Dat" Song under the name AD "THE SON OF MACTOWN" to prove that people would accept any song especially if it has acatchy hook. This song turned out to have a huge success on many online sites with millions of downloads and plays. He created a trend and made people create their own dance videos. After this phase was over his interest in engineering came to light and his career began to mold into something more solid allowing him to work with different companies such as CTE, Grand Hustle, and D4L Records just to name a few.
