It's kind of a jam song, not complicated at all, deticated to a friend that passed nearly 3 years ago.. you'll have to sit thru about 30 seconds of intro to get into the song. this is being posted on May 25, 2012.. he wouldve been 30 yrs old today if he were still alive. i woke up a few months ago with the line "sometimes i miss my friend & it hurts so goddamn bad" in my head & that pretty much started the writing.. it was finally recorded yesterday. sometimes i miss my friend & it hurts so goddamn bad when i need someone to talk to like the taunts we used to have.. well you could never take away from me all the years that we've shared, but a hundred million memories cant replace the fact that youre not here- & i just want to know if you can hear me from where you are..? youve been gone for so long & i always feel alone when theres not a single soul that understands a thing i say, anyway... we think about the good times, but cant forget about the bad, like when i set fire to your suitcase & you took that stick up to my head.. we cant erase all things that weve said & done. we pushed shit so far so many times, but i know im not the only one that really wants to know if you can hear us from where you are..? youve been gone for so long & i start to feel stuck alone when theres not a single soul that understands these things i do.. or used to.. you left us with a lifetime of stories we pass.. some of those make us sad, mostly they make us laugh! i wish you could know how badly youre missed.. each & everyday i know youre gone, i get so fuckin pissed that i have no way to know if you can hear me from where you are... well i dont need an answer, tho id love to know that YOU know youre alive in our hearts & we still wish you were here.... . . . . .
