Nate “Poetics” Howard is a rapper/poet majoring in Communications & Music Industry at the University of Southern California. Wiith an emphasis in entrprenuernship, Nate has created a name for himself in the west coast college market, opening for the likes of Mos Def and MURS, and hosting concerts for T-Pain, J Cole, and Nipsey Hussle. Nate’s performance is considered to be inspring and uplifting. In his music, he truly believes in the power that music has to change the world. In 2010, he won the national college battle of the bands social justice award for his music representing poverty and inequality in America. Inspired by artists like J Cole and Kendrick Lamar, Nate understands the methods in how to make his songs both entertaining and impactful.  Aside from his performance, Nate also is the host the number one college music show Platforum Music on channel LA36 reaching over 2.8 million homes in the LA area. On his show, Nate has interviewed artists Ice Cube, Rev Run, DJ Khaled, RZA, Teyana Taylor and Anthony Hamilton to name a few. Known for his unique style of poetry and hosting, Nate’s main purpose is to inspire as many people as he can.
