Aetiology is the creative partnership between friends Michael Brandt, Chris Ditton, and Scott Flesch. Combining their unique musical tastes, hypnotic riffs, driving bass rhythms, and fierce drumming, Aetiology seeks to enhance the beauty of music's natural qualities through a distinctive fusion of subtle, luminous cascades of digital electronic sounds, and traditional rock instrumentation. The band’s first live demos are a preview of the group's tremendous live presence and energy, the collection is also the precursor to the group's first EP, scheduled for a Spring 2010 release. The demos include tracks such as the newest single “Strange Hieroglyphs,” an epic and dynamic organization of soaring guitar riffs, compelling bass lines, bombastic drumming and eerie soundscapes will keep the listeners intrigued and wanting more as the rhythm of the track flows flawlessly from one section to the next. Also, tracks such as “Appropriate Paranoia” and “Dream Within a Dream” give listeners an in-your-face jam that must be danced to, contrasted by a humble, more ambient environment of sounds and movements evocative of a dream-like state-of-mind. The demos create a state of euphoria, excitement and optimism for Aetiology's upcoming studio release. A work in progress, but no doubt a masterpiece. Formed in early 2009, Aetiology is a band that surprises the industry with the maturity and dedication of its members who are determined to create and inspire original sounds that embody the groups diverse musical tastes and interests.
