Patsy Cline asked for this song to be written by my friend Lawton Jiles. Her label made her record it with different lyrics and it became "How Can I Face Tomorrow?" According to Jiles, Patsy was heartbroken she never had a hit Christmas song. Jiles wrote several of Patsy 's singles, including "Let The Teardrops Fall" and "Crazy Arms."
