  Although Andre’s grandparents and mom had musical abilities, he was not very interested in music.  His Mom encouraged him to take a music class in elementary school, however he was not interested in sticking with it.  He noticed he had a gift to inspire people through music when he was 16.  He reworded a popular rapper’s song and made it a Christian hit.  He enjoyed it so much that he started writing more lyrics and looking for music beats to match.   H...

  Although Andre’s grandparents and mom had musical abilities, he was not very interested in music.  His Mom encouraged him to take a music class in elementary school, however he was not interested in sticking with it.  He noticed he had a gift to inspire people through music when he was 16.  He reworded a popular rapper’s song and made it a Christian hit.  He enjoyed it so much that he started writing more lyrics and looking for music beats to match.   He started learning from others that were more skilled in music. He learned how to match lyrics to any style of music.  He began to listen to CD’s that taught him how to craft his musical abilities.  He also learned different musical skills by participating in other ministries and public events.  The people would let him know how much his lyrics encouraged them.  Each encouraging word from others helped him increase in confidence.  He realized this was not just a hobby.    Life happened to GH.  The more he wrote to encourage others, the more life’s adversities happened.  The song “Can’t Break Me”, was written after some tough life experiences were going on.  GH’s grandmother had been diagnosed with lung cancer, friend’s seemed to become enemies and his parents separated.  Gospel Hustla decided he must go on no matter what happens.  Whatever comes his way, he would not let it break him.  His grandmother fell in love with the song.  It became the anthem of the family.   The songs on this album are inspirational.  Although they speak on life’s issues, it always offers hope.  They encourage you to go on because of God’s love for you.  There is always a way out.
