Then I worked on the Carribean cruise ships for a while and ended up working for five years as a performer and session musician in Caracas, Venezuela. Then I worked on the Carribean cruise ships for a while and ended up working for five years as a performer and session musician in Caracas, Venezuela. I learned a lot about Latin music, but more importantly, I learned to love that music; I think it is still central to the way I play guitar. Returning to the UK, I worked for four years, mostly with my band 'Outsiders'. Now I live, and perform, around Sydney, Australia. Playing Blues tunes makes up to a certain extent for not living with those great South-American conga players, but I still have to get into that Latin groove.
