A Birmingham native, raised by two loving Christian parents, QueeNhas captivated audiences of all ages with her sultry, melodic voice. This singer, rapper, songwriter began belting out solos in the church choir at the tender age of 2. With her first R&B hit on the radio by 12, QueeN began to explore jazz and blues and even acting. Now a staple in the Birmingham music scene, QueeN was unsatisfied with the lack of female representation in her city and in 2010 co-founded I.W.S.U. (Independent Women Stand Up). A movement designed to mentor and support fellow artists in the city while giving back to the community thus bridging the gap between the two. When asked who she is and what she came to bring, she humbly says, "You can learn a person through song, and everything I do is genuine and from the heart, just listen..." Her album "Definition of Music" was released June 25th, 2011.
