Rook moved from Massachussetts (Cambridge) to Brooklyn NY in 2004 to attend college and to pursue careers in music, TV and film. Since 2004 Rook has been doing shows/auditions/competitions all across Manhattan (A winner of CT's Open Mic competition), Brooklyn and Boston; gaining respect and fans as he goes. He has also landed a role in an indie film and has been featured on numerous mixtapes. These days you can catch Rook promoting his newly dropped project "Greenwood" with best friend Geo, working his 2nd mixtape (Mixed Ape) and brainstorming his first album. His first solo mixtape was the critically acclaimed "The Boy Who Could Fly: The Mixtape". Laced with beats by a few known producers and sick cover art done by 3rd ID Clothing. Rook also joined Sony/RCA's artist and good friend Sammy Adams' national tour, twice, with his group 'The FlyRydaz'; they also just won ESPN's Main Event Boxing Music contest. Now its all about branding, promotion, exposure and making great music, and that what Rook is the most focused on. 2014 is looking like a great year for Rook.
