The Anthony J Cox Trio knows how to deliver bitter/sweet pop rock. Echo laden guitars shine over deep bass grooves and thumping drums. Intimate melodramas that bite with intensity splashes of light and beneath the surface, alone in a quiet corner brood in darkness.

There is a rock/pop sensibility that combines with something heavier lurking in the dark corners and alleyways. Elements of Hunters & Collectors, U2, The Temper Trap, The Cure and Nick Cave all emerge from the mix at times.

The band have recently welcomed new bass player Neil Black to the fold and are looking to release a new single later this year.
