What happens when you mix rugged, urban “bump in your truck” drums, smooth R&B chords, outlandish rock guitars and put four gifted musicians into a studio? Some say, “it taste like Italian when it’s served.” We say “it’s Arrivederci” (pronounced ahr-ree-ve-der-chee). In the summer of 2007, AVD, acronym for Arrivederci, decided to take a creative approach to the music industry, blending Hip-Hop and Rock music. With all the commonalty in music today and degrees of trying to be unique, AVD has a sound unparallel to the rest. With inspiration ranging from Maroon 5, Cold Play, Weezer, Ben Fold’s Five to Michael Jackson, Ryan Leslie and Kanye West what else would you expect

The band is currently working on their debut album entitled “Affidavit.” It has a number of club smashes entitled “Close the Door” and “Lava Lamp,” but there is also a softer side to the band, present in “Meant To Be” and “Third World.” When you ask the band what encouraged them to name the album “Affidavit,” they simply replied, “This is our declaration to the music industry.”
