The Black Music Association & Academy Of America presents the Third Annual THE AMERICAN BLACK MUSIC AWARDS SHOW AND HALL OF FAME INDUCTIONS Saturday, August 16, 2008 CASHMAN THEATER Las Vegas, Nevada OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION OF NOMINATION Congratulations CAROLYN WALDEN: On behalf of the Black Music Association of America we are proud and honored to announce that you have been Nominated by our selection committee to receive an American Black Music Award during the fourth annual BMA, scheduled for Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the Cashman Theater, located at 850 Las Vegas Blvd. North. The “Red Carpet” Celebrity VIP Ceremonies begin at 7:00 p.m. with the Show starting at 8:00 p.m. Please arrive in limousine no later than 7:30 p.m. Each Nominee is selected by our prestigious committee of radio industry personnel, music company executives, the media, promoters, venue owners, and of course your peers in the music industry. Final voting is done by our committee members, and by the general public who can help select winners on our “Vote 4 U” internet voting site. Each general public voter must be a registered ticket-holder in order to vote.
