Colleen is a singer-songwriter who was born and raised in Galway, Ireland. She was born to be a musician. She begged her parents to let her take piano lessons at the age of 6 and progressed rapidly from there. She began writing her own compositions, and at the age of 16 won a national songwriting contest in Ireland with a piano ballad love song. Following high school she was accepted into a new music school in Ireland which taught Music and Performance as a career. Through this she learned about all aspects of the music business, became part of a band and performed with this band at different venues in Ireland. Following music school she went to College and got a business degree. Through all this time she was actively involved in Community Theatre and Musical Theatre playing many lead rolls until she moved to the States. She is now back writing and aiming towards getting her music recorded. Her music ranges from piano/pop ballad to catchy up tempo songs you will want to dance to. Her music is definitely unique while also being familiar with lyrics that just make you feel like singing along.
