Craig Lyons

Craig Lyons is a passionate singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and recording engineer. He has released three self-recorded, self-produced solo albums under indie label Grayscale Records, and is currently working toward the release of his fourth.

Craig’s music has been licensed by Universal Music, Fox and MTV, reaching hundreds of millions of people via shows such as 'So You Think You Can Dance' and 'The Real World'. Craig has been nominated for the LA Music Awards 2 consecutive years, receiving a producer's choice award in 2008. He also swept 2008's Star Music Awards, taking home top honors 'Artist of the Year' and 'Singer/Songwriter of the Year'.

He's an altruistic and socially-conscious artist, having been featured on the successful charity 'Feed333' album, organizing his own benefit show for Shriner's Hospital pediatric burn victims, and volunteering as a mentor for musically gifted special-needs children.

Craig has appeared in Music Connection Magazine and can be heard on commercial radio (Clearchannel Music feature), independent radio (including WOXY), and college radio (including 92WICB, voted best college radio station 2008 by MTV-U).

A midwestern guy relocated to Los Angeles, Craig and his original sound have drawn some of the city's finest musicians as his backing band. They can be heard performing frequently at many of the west's most distinguished venues including LA's famous Key Club on Sunset and Vegas's House of Blues.

Due out in early March '09, Craig's new album will be his first collaborative effort. Featuring an accomplished co-producer, some of LA's top players, a grammy-winning mix engineer, and a live Hollywood string orchestra, it will represent a cumulative vision of his finest work to date and will undoubtedly catapult him into the next tier of his already flourishing career.
