Since their incarnation in 2002, Far From Fallen has had the opportunity to share the stage with nationally recognized acts such as: Apiary (Metalblade), Imperial (Pluto), Bloodjinn (Pluto), Year of Desolation (Prosthetic), We’re All Broken (Fidelity), Autumn Black (Tyburn), Calico System (Eulogy), and Black Stone Cherry (Roadrunner).
In 2008, Far From Fallen recorded nine new tracks symbolically named Arise from the Ashes set to release mid-summer of 09. Arise from the Ashes emphasizes the concept of disassembling to your core, reflecting, and then rebuilding as a new machine. Included on Arise from the Ashes is the song “Hallows’ Eve” which was written and chosen for an upcoming independent movie entitled “Hallows’ Eve: Slaughter on Second Street” as the movie’s theme song.
Their experience and reputation spans throughout the media. For instance, they had been featured on local radio stations including 97X, Q102, 93.9KTG, and 103.1GBF as well as internet radio the Mayhem and Rage Metal Radio show (mayhemandrage.com) and Hater Metal (Biz-zar.com). Both Fox 7 Morning News along with Adelphia Channel 8’s Around Owensboro also showcased the band for their talent’s and accomplishments. Additionally their resume embodies countless articles in the Messenger Inquirer (Owensboro, KY), News-4-U Magazine (Evansville, IN), The Courier Newspaper (Hawesville, KY) and Music Entertainment “ME” Magazine (Lexington, KY). Online, FarFromFallen.net has received 94,000+ visits and plays earning them the attention of Roaring Lion Energy Drink of whom now sponsors the band. The band felt confident enough in their music to enter an online “Battle of the Bands” on Drinkcocaine.ning.com, an energy drink site. To win they had to survive three rounds of voting. The band has since made it to the finals along with nine other bands, defeating 250+ others from all over the globe. Also Recently the band was entered into regular rotation on Jango.com after only 5 days of joining due to a high amount of positive feedback from listeners. In April on Ourstage.com Far From Fallen’s song reached #3 on the monthly chart defeating its previous record of #24 back in February; these results are based on song vs. song combat in which the better song receives a “victory”.
