Sexy and sultry, smooth and smoky, sensual...all of these words have been used to describe the voice of Cara Young, lead singer of Inner Frequency. Combined with the band's adventurous rhythms and catchy lyrics, Inner Frequency creates earworm-inducing tunes and puts on a live show full of twist and turns.
Inner Frequency is Cara Young beltin,' it out, Jon Mosig bangin' the drums, Bryan Plemons funkin' the bass, and newest member, Billy Roberts, rockin' out on the electric guitar with flyin' fingers, with some sitar mixed into the live shows (provided by Mark C. Lowe) for some added flavor.
The band has experienced several evolutions over the past few years, moving from coffee shops to bars & festival stages and becoming more electric than acoustic. Highlights from the past 5 years for the band include independently releasing 3 EPs, competing in the Land Shark Battle of the Bands last year (finishing 6th in the nation!), opening for Eddie Money, appearing on Good Morning Texas, and performing at Taste Addison and the Deep Ellum Arts Festival.
