Johanna Winkel

Johanna is of Dutch/Indonesian and Scottish descent and resides in Los Angeles. She grew up in Massachusetts and Colorado and began her music career at the age of 5 when she started singing on her Dad’s radio program in Boulder, Colorado. Johanna starred in the musical theater world playing the lead role of “Pirates of Penzance", and supporting roles in “The Boyfriend”, and “Irene”. Besides singing, Johanna has always enjoyed writing her own songs. During her senior year of high school, Johanna wrote, recorded, and produced a cd along with performing a live concert of her music. She studied at a performing arts conservatory in Hollywood, CA after graduating from high school. She recently travelled to Nashville to co-write and record with some professional, seasoned song writers and musicians.
