Landon Austin (born August 8, 1988) is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter. Originally from Dallas, Texas. During his freshman year of high school he was a top ten finalist in the Texas 10 under 20 competition. Two years later when Austin was a junior in high school he won the Texas 10 under 20 competition and as part of the grand prize for winning the competition he performed at the Taste of Addison on May 13th 2006.
In October of 2007 Austin became a top ten finalist in the National Doritos Crash the Super Bowl Competition. In January 2008 Austin was voted a top three finalist of the competition by online voters. Austin was then flown to L.A. to record a professional music video for his original song "Waitin.'" Austin along with two other finalists from the Doritos Crash the Super Bowl competition were flown to Phoenix for the Super Bowl. Austin performed at the Saturday Night Super Bowl block party and his performance was aired during the pre-game show of the Super Bowl. Austin's song "Waitin'" was then released as a single on iTunes.
