David will supply a direct box, vocal mic, guitar cables, and guitar stand. The Promoter/Venue is responsible to supply a sound system, monitoring capabilities, and all cables needed.
Load-in, Load-out, & Volunteers:
A representative of the Promoter shall be available at venue at the agreed-upon time of David’s arrival. This representative will have full access to the venue, and assist David with the loading-in of equipment. A representative of the Promoter shall be available to help David load-out their equipment. At least one, preferably two, volunteers must also be available to assist with merchandise sales. Merch volunteers should arrive one hour prior to the performance start time.
David Ruybalid requires 20-60 minutes of sound check before the event to verify and make adjustments to the stage plot and to test instrument and microphone levels in the house and monitors. Any and all opening act(s) and time slot(s) must be approved by David in advance. If an act is to perform before David, the engineer will be required to record levels after sound check, as to duplicate them for the performance. If David has a sound engineer present, that individual will have full access to the soundboard during sound check and performance. No audio effects on voices, instruments, etc, unless approved by artist during sound check.
David prefers soft lighting with little to no color. Audience should be dimly lit, enough to navigate in and out of seats. Please note: no smoke, fires, fog, or haze machines.
