I am an artist living in "The Football Hall of Fame" town of Canton, OH I went to Kent State University for a while to study fine arts and journalism, but since I had a professor try to stab me in the eye I have yet to go back Anyway, before I even started at good ol' KSU I taught myself how to work with glass. That was about 15 years ago from now. I kinda' learned working with glass backwards. I started with cold working, and then went on in 2001 to pursue a degree in fine arts at KSU. I have done many art shows and events here in N.E. Ohio, and became know as "The Glass Carver" because of my glass working technique. In specific I work with glass bottles. Even though I went through the process of learning to blow glass, I find what I started out with is what I enjoy doing the most I have been criticized as doing nothing more than a craft, as well as being hailed for creating fine arts. I say beauty is in the mind of those who look for it. What I found myself doing is something I have yet to see others do around here. I am a "Glass Carver, like people carve wood, I carve glass." That's what I say to the masses I utilized the cold working process in a way that is very unique and solitary. After that I apply many layers of paints and other media to give the work some definition. I am currently signing all of my works under the name "PACH ATOMZ". I've also signed them under my own initials (E.F.), and also L.H.F., which stands for "Local Heroes Foundation". I was getting so many blessings and praises about the inspiration of my art, I felt that I could help change the local art scene; but I guess being a black artist here and it's mostly harsh realities is a lesson I’m still learning. So half the time I end up focusing on my other creativeness which is music. That is a whole other story. LOL I was posted on JUXTAPOZ.COM as a featured artist, and you can see updated photos of my work on Flickr.com. I hope you enjoy them Thanx and Peaze Errick Freeman, a.k.a. Pach Atom

One of the many crazy lines spit by the underground emcee that calls his self "Pach Atomz".
Its a name meaning something to the effect of bringing all things together, and being an artist of many talents he is definitely on the right track.
As a seasoning musical artist and somewhat of an established sculptural artist, Pach is one of those entertainers that you would not expect him to be. He is usually quiet, usually working with paints, glass, wood, or canvas. Also he looks nothing like the supposed rapper profile.
Not much bling if any at all, he is more into handmade stuff.
The music he creates is of something within us all, and very mindful of the words spoken. "Argo Tome" is a great representation of this. "The underground language is still alive!” he exclaims.
Argo Tome" is latin meaning underground slang, but Atomz raised it up to the Language of the Underground. "I'm turning into what your learning; all those things right between the lines. Argo Tome is what I put you on! The Underground language is still alive!" That says a whole chapter in just a few lines.
For those of you who like to rock, check out the tracks titled "Bang! Bang! And "Check Yo' Helmet". Both tracks are smothered in indy guitar riffs, but "Bang! Bang!" is something for the club to bounce to. The lyrics are a riot, and go like this: "Tell your friend I'm not the one, she's just cute and fu%kin' dumb! Man, those sores are handsome. Is she sick or lonesome? Bang! Bang!" the hook is very catchy also.
To most Pach Atomz might not be the typical polished thugged out gansta' image and sound that is so popular now days, but that just doesn’t seem to bother him. "I do it because I love music, and art. I also do it for those guys and gals out there tryin' to do their true calling."
He stands for the artist, not the paintings. You can definitely hear that at the last verse on "Strange Kind". A song dedicated to the line of emcee definition. "You appear just like one of those froze in a time when the world was under the snow." is a rhyme that's so simple and yet says so much.
So if you’re into hearing some great experimental sounds, go check out "Pach Atomz". He has a little something for us all! He's a true and original visionary!
